Even if you're like me and don't like Snape/Neville, but love canon!Snape, you may like it in spite of the pairing.

Do you remember "Shattered", by nym777? Nym has just posted a ficlet set 5 years after its end, here. I don't know how Nym does that. It's pure magic -- I feel like I know that Harry and that Snape. I can feel them.

Both are sweet (but not schmoopy) stories, with a sad but hopeful tone. Her characterisations are very similar to mine.
